4 to try // New to my beauty routine

I’m forever shuffling my dressing table around (which also doubles up as my desk on days when I work from home). I find it so satisfying giving everything a shift, having a good old clean, putting new products out and making everything look nice and pretty.
It’s on these occasions that I not only rediscover products but I also fall back in love with products I perhaps haven’t reached for in a long time. And so for today’s post, aside from discussing some products that are new to my beauty bag, there are a few oldies, but goodies here also.

4 Beauty Products To Try This Month

At £116 for a 100ml bottle, this isn’t a recommendation to drop a chunk of money on a new perfume, what this is, however, is a recommendation to give this delicate and intricate perfume a sniff next time you’re in your favourite beauty hall that has a Chanel counter.
One of the newest scents to be added to the prestigious Chanel fragrance line having been launched in 2017, this fragrance features citrus, white floral, yellow floral, sweet and woody notes and is a very feminine, safe scent. It’s not a pungent scent like my usual favourites which includes Obsession by Calvin Klein and Aura by Mugler, but it is however understated, demure and perfect for sunny days.

I’m not normally the kind of gal to opt for a nude matte lip over a bold red, however, there is one product in particular that has caught my attention as it provides the perfect nudey/pink lip with a gorgeous matte finish. ‘Windsor Rose’ from The Body Shop is a great a choice for everyday wear and it is not uncomfortable to wear either, though if you do happen to find it a little drying just apply a matte balm such as Carmex underneath.

Whilst the hot summer sun has been well received this year, I think my hair would have other ideas. I’ve had to keep my hair super nourished as the ends have become periodically dry and in need of some moisture. A combination of the suns hot rays and bleached balayage ends, it was never going to end well.
To combat this, I call upon the Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Oil With Coconuttime and time again as it’s weightless, non-sticky and smells divine! I apply a few pumps to the palm of my hand, rub them together to warm the oil and then apply liberally through the ends of my hair. Not only does it give my hair some nourishment, but it also leaves my hair looks glossy and revived.
I love conditioning sprays, especially ones that smell as lush as this one! For under a fiver you can treat your hair (parched or otherwise) to a lovely burst of moisture thanks to the Nourish and Smooth Avocado and Manuka Honey Conditioning Spray which you can get your hands on from Superdrug. I apply the non-sticky formula to freshly washed, damp hair and leave to air dry. There’s no rinsing involved, you can just let the formulation soak into your hair offering up an intense shine after just one use!
