Whilst on my trip to America, I visited a huge casino in Connecticut, little did I know my trip there was to actually see The Killers (Yes, Brandon Flowers looks as sexy in real life) so I rocked up in the mood to shop around the mall section before the ah-mazing surprise was revealed by my cousin and I found myself jumping around to ‘Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine.’
Just before the show, a shining black and white beacon unfolded in front of my eyes…My very first time experiencing Sephora in real life…And you never forget your first time.
Trust me it is as amazing in real life as our favourite US Youtube beauty guru’s make out – A whole store filled to the rafters with US and international beauty brands, think Tarte and Anastasia Beverley Hills. Time was tight so I only had time to speed shop but one note I will make is that the Sephora own brand stuff is awesome. Though, I knew there was one brand I couldn’t pass up on and that was Kat Von D.
I’ve heard all good things about the Kat Von D ‘Everlasting Liquid Lipstick‘ so I picked up the shade ‘Bauhau5’ a gorgeous hot pink shade that is one of my favourite colours to wear on my lips.
The lipstick itself is a long-wear, full-coverage formula with a matte finish and boy when you apply this wonder to your lips…You know about it as the pigmentation is full throttle.
The formula itself is comfortable to wear and the lasting power is all day no matter how much you eat or drink. It is INSANE. I think next time, the infamous Shade + Light palette is on the cards or maybe a studded kiss lipstick? ESPECIALLY now that Kat is launching her make-up line in Debenhams this Autumn! Is it worth the money? Definitely!
What a gorgeous shade, I really want to try these and can't wait til they launch in Debenhams they're first on my list xx
