There are some products that just do their job and do it well.
Today, I am going to share with you three of those ‘well worth your hard earned pennies’ products.
Redken have been a brand that I wish I could afford to buy more from however, being a student and interning for free this just isn’t possible. The Extreme ‘Anti Snap’ treatment is one of the best hair products around. A stylist from the French Connection blow bar told me that it would change my life, and whilst it hasn’t made a huge impact on my life, it has changed everything about my hairs life.
The formula is applied to damp hair before blow drying and is intended to help prevent breakage on over bleached hair. My blonde hair was breaking off at the root quite dramatically, so after laying off the dye and using the ‘Anti Snap’ formula religiously my hair has now been nursed back to health.
My dear friend Zoe from the Youtube channel that feels like a warm hug ‘MammafulZo’ didn’t find the magic in the Maybelline ‘Baby Skin’ primer so she sent it to me to try. I am a little fussy when it comes to primers after my horrendous break out via the Benefit ‘Porefessional’ but this one is just fantastic. The consistency of the primer is silky that helps make your foundation glide on so beautifully. I wouldn’t say it is amazing at reducing the size of pores but the way it keeps your make-up looking flawless all day long is what really makes this product so darn good.
MAC ‘Soft and Gentle’ mineralise skin finish is one of those cult products that if you don’t own – you need to if glowing ‘lit from within’ skin is your thing. I like to apply a dash of the powder to the top of my cheek bones to illuminate my face when my skin is looking a little drained in the winter time.
I've been meaning to try that Maybelline Baby Skin but I have huge pores, so it looks like it might not be quite what I'm looking for.
