This may just be me, but I can’t seem to recall a year in my life speeding through as fast at 2014. Monthly favourites have landed again ,June has been strange in the way that I have purchased some amazing new products but my favourites this month have been old timers.
The Hair: I have long since been a fan of the Provoke ‘Touch of Silver’ brightening shampoo as no other drugstore toner works quite as effective as this one does.
I have been using a pea size amount of this in with my everyday shampoo the John Frieda ‘Go Blonder’ and I have noticed not only is my blonde super refreshed but my roots look more blended and toned also.
The Face: This may be of no surprise to you to see Mac – Mineralize Skin Finish in ‘Soft and Gentle’ in Junes monthly favourites as I can 100% say that it is worth every penny of the £22 price tag to buy this. If you want to read more about my thoughts on it, check out [THIS POST]
The Teeth: Although I have my teeth whitened, I drink a hell of a lot of tea and my teeth over time can become very stained. I like to use this Oral B ’3D white’ toothpaste twice a day as it is a real stain buster and makes your teeth super, super sparkly and white within two days.
The Hair: Two haircare loves in one month? Naughty, I know but I just had to include the Vo5 ‘Smoothly does it’ heat protectant, anti frizz serum. I find that my hair doesn’t last frizz free for as long if I use anything else. I have a post all about this [HERE]
The Lips: For the longest time I have been ‘off’ lipgloss. The stickyness, the gloop, the high shine finish just wasn’t for me until I rediscovered this little beauty from Barry M. The muted ‘your lips but better’ shade is the perfect nude, the finish is no sticky, smooth and conditioning I love to wear this on a day to day basis.
