The StyleNight
– Saturday night saw me headed to Liverpool’s St George’s Hall for a glamourous evening of fresh fashion and a new generation of music and model talent.
I was invited to cover the night which was in aid of the Make A Wish Foundation UK.
I was super excited to meet the designers backstage and see their collections straight from the frow.
The event was hosted by BBC Radio Merseyside’s Pam Taylor and musical artists included Liverpool’s Wispa who was playing his exclusive new single ‘She’s the one’ with singer Klaire Louise.
Also accompanying the collections was Manchester’s Kemm.

Designers included Helena Hussain who’s collection was inspired by arabian culture including everything from architecture to tradional dress.

ParisG who has been awarded best new designer and top ten emerging brand within the North West voted by the fashion network.
Victoria Hughes’ label Emoja, whos pieces are made by workers in Kenya, helping boost employment aswell as creating fashion forward pieces and changing peoples lives.
and
Isabel Wong who has gained recognition from publications including Vogue.
I also met jewellery brand Dollface London
who’s pieces are right up my street.
In the makeup room…
At this point…I was getting just a little bit excited.
Guests were greeted upon arrival with Champagne, canopies and goody bags!
The show was fantastic all of the designers thoroughly impressed me!
I can’t wait to see what is next for them.
Also in the audience was Desperate Scousewives Elissa Corrigan, we had a long chat
about journalism and how to break that front page story.
Believe me, the tips she gave me would make your toes curl. 😉
She was super, super lovely.
I rounded off my night with a few drinks with my boyfriend who was staying in Liverpool for a charity event, his arrival was an awesome surprise!
Today I am headed down to London for the Johnson and Johnson 9th annual journalism awards.
I will be tweeting and instagramming all evening so be sure to follow me
